GERMANY / Saxony / Kriebstein / The medieval Kriebstein Castle is considered to be the most beautiful knight's castle of the Free State of Saxony. At the end of the 14th century, the elevated castle on the rocky promontory above the Zschopau River was founded by the Lords of Beerwalde.
